Handmade Paper Sculpture
I work with pigmented abaca paper pulp to form thin pieces of paper. While the sheets are still damp I wrap them over armatures of wire, basket reeds or found objects. The resulting forms are then further enhanced with iridescent acrylic paints & colored pencils.
