Karen has over 30 years of extensive exhibition and teaching experience. She now devotes her time to her studio practice.
Artist's Statement
My work combines traditional & digital methods to create one of a kind hybrid images. Whether I’m drawing from a still life arrangement of twisted ribbons, making sculptural handmade paper or combining fragments of past work into stacked collages, I enjoy the total engagement in the process of making and responding to the work as it reveals itself. My hope for the viewer is to provide a similar sense of joyful connection.
